Our Founder

Dr. Tracey Stroup, ND

Dr. Tracey Stroup is a naturopathic doctor, educator, and founder of the Academy of Abiding Wellness. With more than 25 years of experience in the health and wellness field, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals understand the body’s design and equipping others with practical tools to support lasting wellness. Dr. Stroup holds a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from The Pennsylvania State University and has pursued extensive training in natural and integrative health. She is a Certified Natural Health Professional, Level 2 Digestive Specialist, Master Herbalist, and Aromatherapist, and is widely respected for her work in functional naturopathic education. Throughout her career, Dr. Stroup has become a sought-after clinician, speaker, and presenter, particularly in the areas of integrative and complementary care, practitioner education, and medical freedom. She is the founder of Eat Pray Faith and the creator of the Quarterbacking Cancer education and support initiative. Her clinical and educational work often focuses on complex chronic conditions, including Post-Covid and vaccine recovery protocols, chronic inflammatory illness, MTHFR mutations, metabolic health, and biblical approaches to wellness. Through the Academy of Abiding Wellness, Dr. Stroup teaches and collaborates with other instructors to provide practical education for practitioners, families, and ministry leaders who want to steward health with wisdom and faith. Most importantly, Tracey is a wife, mother, and devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and her work is rooted in the belief that caring for the body is an important part of honoring the life God has entrusted to us.

Dr. Sherian McCoy is a naturopathic doctor, educator, author, and speaker with more than 35 years of experience in education and ministry. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Music Education and Biblical Studies and has additional training in traditional naturopathy, complementary alternative healthcare, aromatherapy, and pastoral counseling. After walking through her own journey with chronic illness, she developed a passion for helping others understand the body’s design and address root causes of health concerns. Her teaching integrates practical natural health strategies with a biblical perspective, emphasizing whole-person wellness—body, mind, and spirit. At the Academy of Abiding Wellness, Dr. Sherian teaches aromatherapy courses and is developing upcoming ministry-based training. I’m Sarah Huftalen, BCTN, a Holistic & Functional Health Practitioner and founder of Healthi Revolution. I completed my CNHP (2016) and Doctor of Naturopathy (2020) at Trinity School of Natural Health, am board-certified through AANP and AADP, and became an MBFI-certified Holistic Hormone Practitioner in 2024 after completing Dr. Tracey’s Beyond the Bloodwork. I specialize in women’s hormones, HTMA-based mineral balance, and metabolism. Inside Practice Better, I deliver client-only courses I built—HTMA and Hormone Harmony—plus mini-courses like Confused on What to Eat When Navigating Hormones and Fat Loss in Your 40s.

Jill Taylor graduated from the Community College of Southern Nevada in 1987 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. She later received her Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from DeVry University graduating Summa Cum Laude and is also a Certified Health Specialist and Certified Nutritional Consultant. She has worked in clinical practices as a RDH for over 36 years, retiring from the Exceptional Dental Practice in Las Vegas, to pursue her Independent In-Office Consulting full time in 2010. In addition to being a published author, Jill is an accomplished international speaker who presents on topics including Molecular Testing, Restorative Communication and Acceptance, Myofunctional Therapy, Nutrition and Detoxification in Dentistry, Oral Systemic Link, Biofilm Therapy via Air Polishing, and Laser-Assisted Periodontal Therapy.
